Salzburg Verkehr myRegio yearly ticket products are subsidized by a “climate bonus” of up to 20% provided by the Province of Salzburg’s Environment Department. myRegio yearly tickets for the City of Salzburg are also subsidized with funds from the City of Salzburg, as well as from the provincial Ministry of Transport. From 1st January 2020, yearly tickets are no longer valid simply for a special route or the City of Salzburg; they will serve as a network ticket for an entire region. You may choose from among six regions:
There are six regions (Region Salzburg-City, Region North, Region Tennengau, Region Pongau, Region Pinzgau and Region Lungau). You may purchase a ticket for one region, two neighboring regions or all the regions.
Cross-border tickets to travel to Upper Austria and Bavaria are also available. The additional price for tickets for other zones is 100 euros per zone.

You can download the myRegio yearly ticket application here or pick up a form directly from the Salzburg Verkehr customer center, any service center of the Salzburg AG for Transport, or any ticket office of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB).
There are six regions:
- Region North
- Region Salzburg-City
- Region Tennengau
- Region Pongau
- Region Pinzgau
- Region Lungau
The Pinzgau, Pongau and Lungau regions are almost identical with the relevant political district. The area of Tennengau will additionally also include the zones Elsbethen, Anif-Grödig and Fürstenbrunn. The Flachgau region situated north of the capital will be called “Salzburg North”. The region “Salzburg-City” no longer ends at the city line but also includes the surrounding areas: tickets for the region Salzburg-City can also be used for the zones Wals, Siezenheim, Großgmain, Fürstenbrunn, Anif-Grödig, Niederalm, Rif, Puch, Elsbethen, Gaisberg, Koppl, Guggenthal, Plainfeld, Gaisberg, Eugendorf, Hallwang, Ursprung, Elixhausen, Anthering, Bergheim and Freilassing.

myRegio yearly tickets are valid for all bus and railway lines of the Salzburg Transport Association on offer in the entire timetable without any time restriction. The tickets may be used for an unlimited number of rides. No longer is an additional central zone fee (Kernzonenzuschlag) payable to the municipal transport companies.
myRegio yearly ticket for the region North also includes the entire SVV line 111 from Salzburg to Feldkirchen-center, line 112 from Laufen to Ostermiething, line 120 from Salzburg to Palting-center, line 140 from Salzburg to Mondsee, the entire line 149 to Ried am Wolfgangsee HLW, line 150 from Salzburg to Bad Ischl, line 156 from St. Gilgen to Mondsee, the Salzburg local railway to Ostermiething and, within the zone Straßwalchen, the lines to Friedburg. myRegio yearly ticket for the entire province also includes the entire line 260 from Salzburg via the “kleine Deutsche Eck” to Zell am See, line 180 to Bad Reichenhall, line 470 from Golling to Gosau, incl. a branch-off point at Pass Gschütt, and the bus and railway lines to Freilassing (incl. the city bus lines 81 and 82).
Rides with night buses 9xx are not included and must be paid extra.

myRegio – my region belongs to me and my children!
All children up to the age of 14 included in a Salzburg family pass can ride with you free-of-charge if you are using myRegio yearly ticket. You may obtain a Salzburg family pass free-of-charge at your local authority office. Please always carry your family pass with you for inspection purposes.
myRegio – my region belongs to me and my dog!
You may travel with your dog free-of-charge if you are using myRegio yearly ticket. Please remember every dog must wear a muzzle and be kept on a leash. (Lapdogs transported in suitable containers are always free-of-charge.)
myRegio – my region belongs to me and my bicycle!
Holders of myRegio yearly ticket, the “edelweiß” ticket or the “senior” ticket may bring a bicycle on-board free-of-charge.

Additional services PLUS (fixed price of €100)
myRegio PLUS – my region belongs to me and my travel companion!
With myRegio yearly ticket PLUS, you may bring another person free-of-charge on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
myRegio PLUS – my region belongs also to others!
myRegio yearly ticket PLUS is transferrable. If you lend your ticket to someone else, he or she can ride with it within your region. However, if the plus version of myRegio yearly ticket is lost, it cannot be replaced.
myRegio yearly ticket may be returned at any time without providing a reason. The following terms of cancellation apply:
Cancellation during the minimum term of one year: If you return myRegio yearly ticket during the first year, you will be charged 25% of the sales price for every commenced month of use plus a handling fee of € 5. If the relevant myRegio yearly ticket was paid in full in advance, the balance will be transferred to the customer’s bank account; if paid by way of a subscription payment, the corresponding balance will be settled by a payment slip.
Cancellation after expiry of the minimum term of one year: Different cancellation terms apply if the validity of myRegio yearly ticket is extended after expiry of one year: it is possible to terminate myRegio yearly ticket on a monthly basis without any cancellation fee. The minimum term of one year can start on 1st January 2020 at the earliest.
