Through our efforts, we hope to inspire all the people of Salzburg to use public transport. With an outstanding mobility provision, our aim is to offer our customers optimum official connections and so to make public transport the transport of choice. As a service partner we are always on hand for all our customers; together with our staff and transport providers, we work every day to exceed their expectations.

Ricardo, a Costa Rican, moved to Salzburg for love. As a secretary, his knows everything that is happening in the company and always tries to start the day with a positive attitude. In his spare time he likes walking with his dog/son, Speck – which is German for Specki.

Dietmar is in charge of fares and handles collaborations, which are always exciting. On the side, he is a professional Gummi Bear tester, and his sense of humour often raises a laugh with half the staff.

Jana joined the Customer Centre team in 2024. As an all-rounder she supports the back office with organisation, enquiry management and knowledge sharing. On the bus you will usually find her with a book in her hands.

Michael actually wanted to move to Spain in 2022, but his train ticket was valid only as far as Hofwirt, in the local railway company area. Since then he has been looking after (Climate) tickets and other customer matters in the front office.

Alexandra wanted not to be a princess but to work on the railway, so her path took her from the platform to our Customer Centre, where she looks after our passengers.

Nicole is fully dedicated to supporting the Salzburger Verkehrsverbund back office. At home she gives her all for her two children and the family. In her spare time she loves motor boating and is a fan of Red Bull Salzburg.

Cansu started at Salzburg Verkehr in the Customer Centre front office in 2020 and has worked in the back office since 2023. Her responsibilities include all tasks relating to season tickets. Moreover, as the point of contact for job tickets, Cansu gets the company moving.

Stefan has worked for Salzburg Verkehr in the Customer Centre back office ever since 2013. As well as processing the various annual pass requests, Stefan is the main point of contact for free travel for school pupils / apprentices. When he is not working, he can usually be found on various golf courses.

Astrid can be found in the back-office area at the Customer Centre. In addition to her everyday work, she is the point of contact for cycle boxes. On her desk there is always a picture of her dog, Frieda.

Silvia works part-time and helps in all back-office areas. Reminders and debt collection are her pet project.

Sabine has worked for Salzburger Verkehrsverbund since 2013. Since autumn 2023, as a newly certified instructor in adult education, she has looked after the area of courses and training. Her motto: “Those who want find a way; those who don’t want find excuses.”

Nina is responsible for finance, data analysis and sustainability reporting at SVG. Together with her team, she guarantees accurate financial management.

Bernadette is an old hand in our team and has been with us since 2005. She started in bookkeeping, had an intermezzo in season tickets, and is now responsible for accounts payable.

Sonja is responsible for billing of tourist contracts and ensures that everything is kept in order here in bookkeeping. Personally, she is discovering the world from a whole new perspective: through the eyes of her little daughter, who is reminding her of the magic of everyday life.

Ebubekir has been supporting the Salzburger Verkehrsverbund data analysis team since 2020, diligently and conscientiously creating clarity in the chaos of data. In his involvement with key processes and many smaller projects he always remains calm.

Pétér joined our team in 2024 as a sustainability specialist. In his spare time he is an aspiring mountain runner, and he spends much of his time in the winter on cross-country ski trails. Motivated by his love of nature, he actively promotes climate protection at work

Eva came to Salzburg Verkehr in 2015 as a young fledgling. Initially she worked in the office, but she has now been in the Marketing department for 6 years and is already an old hand! She also balances out her creative work with running a farm of 20 girls (cows), as she says.

Barbara joined the Marketing team in 2024 and brings a breath of fresh air to SVG, without being flustered by campaigns running in parallel. She devotes her spare time to a range of hobbies, such as knitting, painting, sewing and crafting – she is never bored.

As a graphic design and creative mastermind, Markus has been inspiring SVG since 2014. He is a Salzburger by choice and contributes his creative talent to a range of projects, ensuring that our visual presentation is always convincing.

Since 2012 Gehrt has been committed to the highest data quality for all information media in timetables and stations and he is also the interface with Mobilitätsverbünde Österreich (Austrian mobility associations) and Verkehrsauskunft Österreich (Austrian travel information).

Roland is responsible for ensuring the highest data quality in timetables and stations in the Innergebirge mountains and he is the interface with Mobilitätsverbünde Österreich (Austrian mobility associations) and Verkehrsauskunft Österreich (Austrian travel information). In his spare time, Roland is a passionate footballer and therefore keeps himself fit away from the desk.

Martin has been planning, developing and optimising public transport since 2017 – he most enjoys this where the state of Salzburg is especially mountainous. In his spare time though, he is generally out and about on two wheels, as a keen cyclist.

Everything by rail! Samuel has been producing the timetables for local trains in Salzburg since 2021 and thinks about networking between regions. He likes using the combination of bike and rail to get out into nature.

The first and last mile? No problem for Raoul, as he is the first point of contact on the subject of micro public transport. As well as planning the minibuses, he is sometimes also behind the wheel of the big buses.

Madita has worked in micro public transport planning since 2024. As she feels strongly about our climate, her work helps many people to be able to leave their own car and conveniently switch to our public transport.

Matthias has been working in quality management since 2022, where he is responsible for analysing and processing passenger numbers and punctuality reports. Outside work he is a passionate athlete – which he proved with his 462nd lace in the Business Run.

Zihret (known as Ziko) completes the dream duo in the quality management team and he knows everything and everybody. As one of the most helpful souls at Salzburg Verkehr he is happy to help with anything at any time, and he always has the warmest smile on his face.

Stefan has been a part of our team for over 10 years, as a developer and database administrator. As a computer scientist he solves problems that colleagues are often totally unaware exist – and in a way that hardly anyone really understands.

Matthias has been a part of our team since 2020 and specialises in telematics and network technology. He uses his knowledge to ensure that delays and information reliably reach our app. Outside his work, he is widely known as a regular customer at Harry Bär.

From instrument making in Hallstatt, Max found his way back to IT in 2022, and he has since dealt mainly with apps and telematics matters. At the weekend he could never do without his gardening.

Verena had always been inquisitive, which is why she supports the innovations department and mobility laboratory at Salzburg Verkehr. With her two decades of experience in project management, she is exactly the right woman for the job here.

Nina has benefited the innovations team with her project management expertise since 2024. She works both on agenda in the mobility laboratory zukunftswege.at and on projects in the area of IT for distribution systems and MaaS. Amela can be found all over the building – upstairs and downstairs, sometimes here, sometimes there – and is the real superhero of the company. Every day she creates an oasis of well-being, and with her fun, positive nature she is indispensable.
