The Guest Mobility Ticket is valid on all trains within the province of Salzburg: S, R, REX, EC, IC, RJ, ICE, WESTBahn
The ticket is valid for travel on long-distance trains (RJ, ICE, IC, EC, WESTbahn), provided that both the departure and destination stations are located in the province of Salzburg. For journeys beyond the borders of Salzburg, the Guest Mobility Ticket is valid from the first stop in the province of Salzburg to the last stop in the province of Salzburg.
- Example 1: Train journey from Munich to St. Johann im Pongau.
The section Salzburg Central Station to St. Johann im Pongau is included in the ticket. A ticket needs to be purchased for the rest of the journey from Munich to Salzburg. - Example 2: Train journey from Villach to Bischofshofen.
Section Vienna – Salzburg Central Station: Not included in the ticket, a separate ticket must be purchased. Exception: For trains that stop in Neumarkt am Wallersee, the ticket is valid from Neumarkt onward.
The section Bad Gastein to Bischofshofen is included in the ticket. A ticket needs to be purchased for the rest of the journey from Villach to Bad Gastein.
