The regions in Pinzgau, Pongau and Lungau correspond almost exactly to the political districts. The Tennengau area also includes the Elsbethen, Anif-Grödig and Fürstenbrunn zones. The Flachgau region north of the state capital is called “Salzburg Nord”. The “Salzburg City” region does not end at the city limits, but also includes the surrounding region: Region Salzburg City tickets are therefore also valid in the zones Wals, Siezenheim, Großgmain, Fürstenbrunn, Anif-Grödig, Niederalm, Rif, Puch, Elsbethen, Koppl, Guggenthal, Plainfeld, Gaisberg, Eugendorf, Hallwang, Ursprung, Elixhausen, Anthering, Bergheim and Freilassing.
